The following profiles are from the anime, And contain some spoilers so don't read unless you want to know or have watched the anime. I know the Charas differ more in the manga, which ive only ever seen the first one of anyway. If anyone feels like putting up the manga profiles please contact us.


Agatsuma Soubi
VA: Katsuyuki Sonishi
Position: War machine
Team: Beloved but now Loveless
First Appearance: Episode 1.
At the beginning he is standing by the gates of the school awaiting to meet Ritsuka, being the main Bishounen of the series, he is tailored to look smexy every time you see him, the most fan girl spazzing times are when his shirt is half open or molesting his Sacrifice. Soubi smokes, paints butterflies and absails up Ritsuka's house to sneak into his bedroom every day. Soubi Gave Ritsuka a mobile so they may contact each other, he takes the opposite end and doesnt pick up if he thinks Ritsuka will be hurt from involvement. Although he cares about Ritsuka a lot, he is sure that Soubi only does so because his brother ordered him to. True that Soubi still has ties to Seimei, yet he continues to follow Ritsuka around and protect him from what life throws. Soubi's past isnt much know from what is shown, he was trained forcefully and painfully by Ritsu. To protect or let the boy find out on his own, Soubi keeps a lot of the information about the Seven moons confidential from Ritsuka and it annoys him a lot because of this. He lost his ears some time ago, But Seimei didn't so its not quite sure what happened. Soubi is a War machine, called "Beloved" his name can be found carved into the neck with some painful looking barbed wire scars. The only thing that seems to affect him is when anyone mentions how he got special treatment from Principle Ritsu.


Aoyagi Ritsuka
VA: Junko Minagawa
Position: Sacrifice
Team: Loveless
First Appearance: Episode 1.
Our protagonist is a 6th grader in elementary school.
The only understanding person in his life, his older brother Aoyagi Seimi is brutally murdered.
He is a little messed up to begin with, his mother lost her marbles and lost his brother, nothing is know about the father of him, so in his world Ritsuka is very much alone. After transfering to a new school, the teacher of his class room is shocked about the past he's had and aims to try and make him fit in. He has an obsession with making "memories" where he takes pictures of what he's done in case he forgets it. Further along the episodes, he matures more and slowly accepts Soubis affection towards him and soon turns out to be a caring and intelligent boy who just wants a hug every now and again (Although he pretends to think otherwise *Pushes Soubi Away*). Ristuka doesn't know where his name is, and its possible there is another true figther for him since his name is "Loveless" there may be another War Machine with the same name, but this is also speculated.


Hawatari Yuiko
VA: Kana Ueda
First Appearance: Episode 1.
A classmate of Ritsuka's who has a crush on him. She is sad at first because he
rejects her friendship, but through her kindness, befriends him in the end. However, she is in love with him while he does not return the feeling. She likes to make jam, and gets very upset when some annoying females at school destroys the gift before Ritsuka can try it, this in turn annoys Ritsuka. Yuiko cares deeply for him, and at first he brushes her aside, but persistance pays off and becomes an very good friend.


Yayoi
VA: Jun Fukuyama
First Appearance: Episode 3.
Ritsuka and Yuiko's Classmate. He is jealous of Ritsuka's closeness to Yuiko. He gets upset whenever Yuiko asks Ritsuka to come over to her house or if she offers him something, Yuiko wouldn't go out with him because he is "short".


Shinome Hitomi
VA: Mamiko noto
First Appearance: Episode 1.
Rituska's School teacher. She has a gentle nature and still has cat eats even though she is 25 years old. Hitmomi likes Soubi even though he has no interest in her what so ever and this more than often sends her into crying fits and is really hurt by how he treats her. Otherwise, Hitmoi is a nice person who looks after Ritsuka, Yuiko and Yayoi. Although at the beginning she is curious about Ritsuka's past and sets about tying to help him fit in and grow.


Kaidou Chiou
VA: Ken Takeuchi
First Appearance: Episode 3.
Soubi's friend from college. They take japanese painting together. His pierced ears are his trademark and the number increases each day. Chio doesn't like Soubi's affiliation with Ritsuka and more than often refers to him as a pervert, but gets upset and whines whenever Soubi ignores him or goes off after Ritsuka, and dislikes it when he is hurt. He cares about Soubi, and a few people talk about how he really feels about him, but its hard to put into facts.


Midori
VA: Motoki Takagi
Position: Sacrifice
Team: Breathless
First Appearance: Episode 2.
He cares about Ai a lot, and at first was sent to kill Ritsuka but ended up trying to befriend him and warn about Soubi, that he isnt a kind person. Midori still has both ears and tail, and isnt very old. Midori likes drinking weird drinks, such as Summer tangerine cola, watermelon mixed juice. He makes up for his immaturity with great intelligence.


AI
VA: Ami Koshimizu
Position: War Machine
Team: Breathless
First Appearance: Episode 2.
Ai has a very strong will to protect Midori, and is a very powerful fighter. She also attempts to kill Ritsuka but in the end sets about tyring to warn him and turns out to be a very caring person. She dislikes Midori's strange liking to weird juices.


Ginka
Position: Sacrifice
Team: Sleepless
First Appearance: Episode 5.
She likes to shop, and has a close relationship with her fighter. With a very willful personality, aims to get things done quickly and calculated. Like all the relationships, she cares deeply about Kinka and is very confident in her abilities, and shows great battle intellect.


Kinka
Position: War Machine
Team: Sleepless
First Appearance: Episode 5.
He was sent along with Ginka to give Loveless an important letter from Ritsu. He doesn't like Ginka's shopping habits and her apparent love for perfumes. When they fight he is quick and gets quite annoyed when Soubi deflects each spell to his advantage.


Natsuo
Position: War machine
Team: Zero
First Appearance: Episode 6.
A bit childish, he appears to Hitomi looking for Ritsuka's home and carries around a small bear. He likes to mock the adults, having literally Zero respect for them to begin with, and shows how cruel he can be when against Soubi and drags Hitomi along for the ride. After the fight however Soubi adopts them, and he proves to be a very helpful but still emotionally clueless person, who annoys Chio with an innocent way about speaking to others.


Youji
Position: Sacrifice
Team: Zero
First Appearance: Episode 6.
He likes to treat everything like a game, and along with Natsuo terrorises the adults with his precise and disrespective demeanor. He to carries around a small teddy bear, but his has patches on like its been torn or lost its eyes. When battling, he does so ferociously, tormenting the opponent because he doesnt know what pain is, and thinks injuries are humerous. In the end, Youji apepars to be a intelligent and strong person, who likes to look after Natsuo.


Kouya
Position: War Craft
Team: Zero
First Appearance: Episode 8.
The principles Favourite. She is an excellent war craft. However, she lacks in knowledge when it comes to the ups and downs of logical attacks. She seems proud but her relation to Yamato is tremendous, This is easily seen despite her attempts to conceal it. Kouya dislikes Ritsuka's and Soubi's relationship thinking its unatural and gets quite upset regardless. Appearing to be the most emotionless of the pair, with an matter of fact attitude and deep feelings for Yamato. In battle she is careful of not letting Yamato get hurt in anyway.


Yamato
Position: Sacrifice
Team: Zero
First Appearance: Episode 8.
She shows a deep connection with Kouya, and doesnt want to heed or impair her in any way nor become a burdon. Not only do they share the same name, but she believes that Kouya is her destiny and will follow her forever. Yamato is the rock of the pair, and appears to be the most friendly and outgoing of the two but doesnt show any emotion to anyone other than Kouya. In battle, she shows an good knowledge of pain, and injuries on a person and exploits them.


Principle Ritsu
VA: Koyasu Takehito
First Appearance: Episode 6.
He was Soubi's teacher. And is the leader of the seven moons. Collects butterflies as a hobby. Has an strange liking to Soubi, as his mentor always saw him as another Butterfly to capture and has an almost emotionless manner.


Nagisa
First Appearance: Episode 9.
She is the real force behind Zero team. Having never been defeated, she has a selfish arrogant disposition. And has the most annoying persona out of all the charectors in my opinion, she likes to boast how her Zero's once beat the hell out of Soubi, but was brushed aside by Ritsu who just stated they only beat him because Ritsuka wasnt around.


Aoyagi Seimei
VA: Ken Narita
Team: Beloved
First Appearance: Episode 1.
He is the older brother of Ritsuka and the former "Owner" of Soubi. Seimei was killed when Ritsuka was young, his sacrifice was named Beloved. Its said that he died in a fire in the school Ritsuka now attends. He appears to Ritsuka in a dream, and towards the end, helps his brother to get stronger.


Aoyagi Misaki
First Appearance: Episode 2.
The mother of Ritsuka and Seimei, she went a bit mental after the death of Seimei and is always insisting that Ritsuka isnt the one she raised. Regardless she cooks his favourite meals then throws a fit if he ever does anything she doesnt think "Her" Ritsuka would do, like come home late and not eat his dinner. Nothing is know about the father of them both.


Ritsuka's Classmates
First Appearance: Episode 1.
Having lessons together, Ritsuka only really gets close to Yayoi, Yuiko and Hitomi. There are three girls, who pick on Yuiko and also ruin a presant she offers to Ritsuka, other than that they don't do much except study, chat and appear as backgrounds in most of the classroom scenes.


Dr Shouko
First Appearance: Episode 2.
The only person to whom Ritsuka confides in, as his Psychologist she offers support, help and most of all listens to him. She also see's Chiou about his issues but they are mainly based on Soubi's obsession. Shouko wishes she was 10 years younger, so she could be closer to Ritsuka.
